Role and Responsibilities:
- Excellence in managing Sales Functions, organize the operations of General Trade, Modern Trade & Key Account
Management at regional level; experience of Category Management, Marketing; Retail Sales & Business Operations Management.
- Delivers the overall territory sales objectives, fine-tunes & monitors the execution and takes pro-active initiatives to cease every opportunity to increase the sales in accordance with the company policies & strategies.
- Designing & implementing competitive strategic sales plans for generating and expanding market share for achieving revenue & profitability target.
- Monitor and review the sales targets, potential for expansion, evaluate promotional schemes in the sales team and devising overall product portfolio strategies; evaluating market trends and steering bus identifying & penetrating new market segment.
- Increasing revenue and growth through strategic sales solutions, building channel partner alliances.
- Formulating and implementing yearly business strategies to ensure attainment of revenue goals and profitable sell- through
- Managing budgets, sales forecasts & reports as per business plans to achieve maximum sales and enhance business revenue; planning & executing new product launch; analyzing industry trends & prices on an ongoing basis, conceptualized and proposed interventions like promotional schemes targeted at specific segments / geographies.
- High degree of people management skills: to lead and motivate the company's Sales team to meet the target
- An enterprising leader with excellent relationship building, interpersonal & sales communication skills; possesses a flexible & detail-oriented attitude
Core Competencies & Skill Sets:
- 15-20 years of relevant sales experience
- Ability to understand the impact of operational initiatives from a sales person's perspective
- Ability to prepare reports and use of appropriate mode of communication.
- Must be proficient at analysing data, building reporting and making strategic recommendations based on data and trends
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines
- Proven success working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Keen business sense, with the ability to find creative business-oriented solutions to problems
