Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Management:
- Develop detailed project plans outlining project scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Oversee the execution of projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with retail strategies and goals.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Stakeholder Coordination:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, IT, and store management to ensure project requirements are met.
- Act as the main point of contact for all project-related communications with internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate regular project meetings to review progress and address any issues.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and efficient use of resources.
- Allocate and coordinate project resources, including personnel and materials.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and align with company policies and procedures.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to assess outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
Vendor and Contractor Management:
- Source and negotiate with vendors and contractors as needed for project requirements.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and post-project evaluations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Retail Management, or a related field. (Master's degree or relevant certifications like PMP is a plus)
- 15+ years of experience in project management, preferably within the retail sector.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, supply chain management, and customer experience principles.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
