OTB Planning:
Develop and manage Open-to-Buy (OTB) plans across all brands to ensure that inventory investments align with sales targets. This involves forecasting demand, setting budget limits, and adjusting purchase quantities to maximize profitability.
Inventory Management:
Continuously monitor inventory levels to ensure that stock is optimally distributed across stores. The goal is to prevent overstocking, which can lead to markdowns, and stockouts, which can result in lost sales.
Store Allocations:
Oversee the allocation of products to various store locations. This responsibility involves analyzing store performance and market demand to distribute stock in a way that maximizes sales potential and ensures that top-performing locations have sufficient inventory.
Stock Liquidation Planning:
Collaborate with the merchandising team to strategize the liquidation of old or slow-moving stock. The planner must determine the best approach to clear out excess inventory, such as through sales events, discounts, or reallocation to different channels, while minimizing financial loss.
P&L Responsibility:
Take ownership of the Profit & Loss (P&L) statement related to the planning function. This includes tracking financial performance, making adjustments to improve profitability, and ensuring that planning decisions contribute positively to the company's bottom line
