Retail Head - Telecom

The Retail Head is responsible for driving sales across different ‘exclusive’ retail channels. Retail Leads at the zone report functionally to Retail Head at the circle.

The Retail Head reports to Circle Sales & Marketing Head:

- Achievement of key targets for the retail channels (Revenue, cost savings, market share etc.)

- Achievement of targeted gross and net acquisitions

- Achievement of expansion targets through greater penetration and geographical expansion

- Achieve ROI for channel partners (as defined in partnership model)

- Ensuring smooth Zonal retail operations across the circle

- Achieve reduction in churn and customer satisfaction from retail outlets

- Ensure customer service delivery through CS implants in stores in coordination with CS Head

- Enhance access and reach of retail outlets

- Resolving channel-specific issues in zone within specific timelines

- Resolving supply chain issues with Distribution Lead for Distribution linkages

- Ensure employee satisfaction thereby reducing attrition

- Relationship management with key channel partners.

Required Experience/ Skills:

- 8 -14 years of experience in FMCG/retail industry

- Multi-national, multi-geography team leadership experience to bring in best practices

- Experience with distribution planning and channel implementation

- P&L management skills

Desired Competencies/ Skills:

- Ability to lead a retail channel, with large number of retail stores of varying sizes and complexity

- Ability to manage in dynamic, high-growth, high-uncertainty environments

- Powerful influencing skills, effective relationship management skills and proven ability to function within a matrix-organisation

- Independent thought leadership and drive to execute - should be a recognized industry leader in his/ her specific area of competence

Educational Qualifications:

- University Degree in Business/MBA calibre or equivalent qualification
