- Required to understand the findings of market research and convert the same into retail mall design inputs
- Should be able to lead a team of research analysts for market research and then use the findings to make recommendations to the client
- Should be able to review the floor plans prepared by the architect and provide inputs on market led aspects of:
- Retail planning- location of anchor categories, placement of food courts etc, specific requirement of anchor categories
- Tenant Zoning - location of different categories on different floors, clustering and adjacencies between different categories to maximize footfalls
- Circulation patterns - ingress/ egress, horizontal and vertical circulation, parking etc
- Back of house services (market led and tenant requirement based)
- Store specific inputs - size, visibility, frontage etc.
- Should be able to assess the business impact of the recommendations on the mall design - impact on rentals etc
- Should be up to date with the national and international market trends with respect to mall design concepts
- Have experience in Business Development
