Our client is a 87 year old multi business enterprise with annual revenue of about Rs. 2,200 Cr. and has business interests in Media, Print technologies & Business solutions, Home fragrance and Energy & Infrastructure etc

- The group companies have manufacturing / service operations in India, USA, Kenya, Germany etc. All group companies are privately held with strategic long term equity investors in few of the core businesses. The group also runs international partnerships / JV in most of its businesses. The group will be looking at public listing as well as getting strategic investors in all its businesses in future.

- The said client is looking for Resources - Corporate Strategy Team to be based out of Manipal, Karnataka.

Prerequisite :

- 2 - 4 years experienced candidates (post MBA) from consulting or strategy experience.

- Candidates should have adequate Business research experience and aptitude to incubation of new ideas into businesses.

Qualification : Premier B-school MBA

Main functions :

Planning : Business vertical annual planning & three year rolling plan

Strategy execution : Transformational projects based on planning with defined objective and milestones

M&As & Transaction support : To support business team in scouting, evaluating and end to end execution of Mergers, Acquisitions and other Transactions

Startup investments : Explore, evaluate and invest in startup ecosystem

New business opportunities : To explore and incubate new business ideas and opportunities

Thought leadership : To broaden the scope of thinking and foresee the trends/opportunities

Data science and business Intel : Includes project of analytic nature and regular scanning of market & competition

- Policy & Technology landscape scanning

Job Description - Role in Group Strategy :

- Support the group business in various business research activities

- Preparation of market intelligence reports for the consumption of key personnel in the organization

- Evaluation of investment proposals and handling end to end activities for investments

- Participate in various Strategy Projects and provide support from Business and market research angle

- Provide support with regard to fund raising assignments

- Provide support in Strategic planning exercise for various group companies

- Providing transaction advisory services across the group

- Work closely with the business team for end to end execution of transformational projects

- Support the team in building financial models and interpretation
