Resource Mobilzation Specialist

Resource Mobilization Specialist will support the Management and spearhead the overall effort to build partnerships and mobilize appropriate and sustainable resource base for program. The Resource Mobilization Specialist will implement and improve upon the existing resource mobilization strategy and develop new tools and procedures, take a lead in donor intelligence and develop strategic partnerships.

Profile & Key responsibilities

- Development and implementation of a donor intelligence strategy

- Look after Client Relationship Management strategy - Synthesis of proposals and provision of inputs to the development and implementation team.

- Participation in various philanthropic events organized for raising awareness and the funds.

- Collaborate with the communications unit on advocacy initiatives among the donor community.

- Scanning of opportunities in the region based on donor-specific intelligence and the competitive landscape; setting up projects if there is a need and support from the donor.

- Work towards the organization goal of reaching out to as many underprivileged girls as possible.

Desired Qualifications, Skills and Competencies

- Post Graduate in Social Work (MSW) or Marketing with a sound understanding of the social development sector,

- Good leadership, capacity building, analytical and networking skills.

- Good documentation, reporting and presentation skills.

- Willing to undertake regular field visits and interact with different programmes.

- Adequate computer skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).

- Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills

- Willing to work as a team, and promote a learning environment and a focus on results-based management
