Title: Research Specialist

Reports to: Manager or Senior Research Specialist

Key Responsibilities: Research Specialist, provides basic reference and research support to consultants, case teams and practice areas using appropriate electronic, print, and other resources as assigned by a Senior Research Specialist or the Manager. We are looking for someone who is familiar with Indian market. Preferably from other Management Consulting firms, Banks, Broking firms, research houses, ITES working for Indian markets, Big 4’s and consulting firms.


Additional responsibilities: Provide ongoing support for basic asset building activities including processing orders and new acquisitions, cataloging and serials check-in, end user system updates, tracking circulation of materials from the collection, and ongoing maintenance of print and other special collections (newspapers, periodicals. Participate in product/service development and product evaluation. Order publications and retrieve documents. Track requests and chargeback’s as needed using the global request management system. Process invoices. Participate in training of consulting and administrative staff.

Qualifications

- PGDBA/ Graduate from an accredited institution or a minimum of 2-3 (4-5 in case of graduate) years of relevant experience in a consulting, financial services, or other professional services environment providing research assistance

- Basic experience with Prowess,Accord, Bloomberg, CMIE products, Factiva, OneSource, Thomson databases and other standard business research tools preferred

- Proficiency in a Windows environment required

- Strong customer service orientation, good written and verbal communication skills in native language and English, and attention to detail and accuracy required

- Ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment required
