Research Manager - Intelligent Operations Team - Consulting Firm

About the role :

This role is with Research global Intelligent Operations team.

We are looking for a candidate with a passion for research as well as knowledge and understanding of Technology led Transformation in large enterprises and key related issues, incl. enterprise applications/software/SaaS trends and challenges, cloud computing/infrastructure outsourcing trends and challenges, the competitive and partnership ecosystem, sales processes, and financial value drivers. The willingness to want to learn about these issues is critically important.

Reports to: Global Research Lead

Qualifications:

- A bachelor's degree in economics, business, finance, engineering, computer science or other related areas.

- Advanced full-time degree (MBA or Masters in relevant fields) required.

Work Experience :

- 12+ years of business experience, preferably in a consulting environment, market research firm, think tank, financial institution, or other third-party research organization or demonstrated equivalent skill.

Location: Gurugram (preferably) or Bengaluru, India

Key Responsibilities include :

- Drive both Thought Leadership and Client Research projects, both for internal Accenture objectives and directly for Accenture clients.

- Identify the key issues facing companies related to intelligent operations and design thought provoking points of view on imperatives for success based upon proprietary insights, market analysis and understanding of emerging trends.

- Originate, sell, and develop innovative research to explore provocative questions in a logical and structured manner.

- Design and manage research projects.

- Utilize advanced analytical techniques to develop surprising new insights, and creatively visualize findings for client use.

- Support the creation of compelling, business-focused stories.

- Contribute to high-quality presentation materials for current and potential clients, conferences, and other audiences.

- Liaise with industry practice, 3rd party data providers, and suppliers to bring external data and insights into research projects.

- Lead junior team members and actively develop them.

- Support the ongoing development of Accenture Research's profile, visibility, and brand across our consulting practice.

- Recognized SME

- Strong storytelling and communication skills and facility in executive presentation

- Strong understanding of intelligent operations and associated opportunities and challenges for companies

- Foundation of core research strategy skills & issue-based problem solving

- Strategic problem solver with the ability to take an issue and turn it into a researchable question.

- Experience and facility with data-driven research techniques, data visualization and the application of advanced analytical approaches (e.g., machine learning, natural language processing)

- Ability to design, lead and deliver highly complex and innovative thought leadership research through e.g., industry player benchmarking, financial analysis, or executive surveys.

- Proven ability to create a project plan and execute against it.

- Ability to quickly establish credibility with senior level leaders.

- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a global, multi-cultural team.

- Clear enthusiasm for research and willingness to learn and grow.
