Role: R&D - Lead

Division Function: Pigment

Reporting To: VP - R&D - Technical Pigments

Role Overview:

The role involves leading R&D efforts in organic pigments, focusing on new product development, process optimization, and creating cost-effective synthetic routes. Responsibilities also include providing technical support to sales and marketing, overseeing a skilled team in R&D and manufacturing support, and driving the development and commercialization of innovative processes and technologies. Familiarity with pigment treatments and end applications is crucial for success in this dynamic leadership position.

Key Responsibilities:

- Leading R&D support for organic pigments pigments, new product development, and process. optimization.

- Developing organic pigments with backward integration.

- Creating cost-effective synthetic routes for many important intermediates from lab to plant production.

- Hands on various chemical reactions.

- Providing technical support to the sales and marketing team.

- Leading a talented team in R&D, process & technology development, and manufacturing support.

- Developing and commercializing new processes and technologies.

Qualification:

Desired: MSc, PhD, B Tech, M Tech with 13+ years of experience
