Research Associate - Venture Capital Firm

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Identify and track investment opportunities via secondary research resources and news

- Write and/or assist in conducting market research

- Analyse and interpret global events, to the extent that they impact the market and our portfolios.

- Analyse and interpret financial statements and financial databases, to produce quantitative analysis of market/ peer performance and trends.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

- Excellent English skills, with track record of successful verbal and written communication

- Attention to detail

- Intellectual curiosity

- Self-motivated

- Team player with strong interpersonal skills

- Ability to work on multiple projects on deadlines

- Strong work ethic and high degree of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, & PowerPoint

- Familiarity with Capital IQ, FactSet, and Pitchbook a plus

- Experience in market research
