Research Analyst - Technology Sector - Private Equity Fund

This is a front-end role with a multi-billion dollar private equity fund based in Dubai. They are a late stage investor in large technology companies and have investment across emerging markets including India.

The person in this position shall work closely with the investment team in Dubai covering technology companies across global emerging markets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct in-depth investment research of companies in the technology sector, build investment theses and track portfolio holdings.

- Integrate information from own research, company disclosures and third-party inputs.

- Strive to have an updated view of positives and negatives pertaining to sectors, stocks and asset classes.

Competencies :

- Should be passionate about the emerging trends in technology and business models.

- Is a continuous and a quick learner.

- Strong numerical and analytical ability, with excellent attention to detail.

- Should have a reading habit in general. This is in addition to the core reading time devoted to technology and investments.

- Good communication skills (verbal and written).

- Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.

Minimum Qualification: Computer Engineering from IITs (or similar institutes) and MBA from IIMs (or similar institutes)

Work Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience in Research Analyst role for technology sector.
