- Work with project team members to understand, refine and prioritize their research needs
- Identify and determine the most appropriate, cost effective and timely research solutions to meet needs
- Gather information using a broad spectrum of sources
- Synthesize the findings into targeted, firm-formatted end products with some interpretation of the "so what" of the research; end products including single exhibits, written summaries, basic fact packs, and spread-sheets, utilizing standard financial concepts, ratios and calculations
- Begin to build and develop knowledge in one or more "spikes" (e.g. industry, function, or geography)
- Build expertise by developing basic fact packs, summaries, and be assigned portions of larger documents in your area of focus
- Solid understanding of a specific content area and its salient issues form the basis for advancement at more senior levels of the Global Research career path
- A post graduate degree from a respected institution with demonstrated analytical expertise and high academic record
- One to two years of relevant research experience, preferably working in a research environment, or with demonstrated involvement in discrete research-type projects
- Prior experience/understanding of concepts i.e. Organizational Transformation/ Restructuring, Cultural Change, Outsourcing/ Shared Services, SG&A Functions etc is preferred.
- Knowledge of HR or OD topics will be beneficial
