Job Purpose

We are seeking 4-5 experienced Research Analysts to join the Ideation Desk, focusing on delivering actionable and relevant research on small and mid-cap companies. Candidates should demonstrate a strong track record in equity research, with a specialization in small and mid-cap sectors. This role emphasizes depth in research and market relevance to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Actionable Research: Provide detailed coverage of small and mid-cap companies, focusing on ideation-driven insights.

- Stock Ideation: Generate high-impact ideas and strategies for investment in small and mid-cap stocks.

- Market Expertise: Maintain a strong understanding of market trends and dynamics, as well as sector-specific developments.

- Collaboration: Engage with AMC clients to leverage their input and identify impactful opportunities in the market.

- Coverage List Development: Build and manage a robust coverage list of small/mid-cap companies that are actionable and relevant for clients.

- Client Interaction: Present research findings to institutional clients, ensuring alignment with their investment needs.

Role Requirements

- Education: MBA/CA or an equivalent professional qualification.

- Experience: Minimum 10 years of equity research experience, particularly focusing on small and mid-cap companies.

Technical Skills:

- Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills.

- Expertise in preparing detailed research reports and sector analysis.

- Proven ability to identify investment opportunities within the small and mid-cap segments.

Soft Skills:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a dynamic, high-pressure environment while maintaining focus on detail and accuracy
