Job Description: Founder's Office ( Analyst)
Position Overview:
As a Research Analyst in the Founder's Office, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our founder and senior leadership team in various strategic and operational initiatives. This role is designed for a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast- paced environment and is eager to contribute to the growth and success of our organization. You will be involved in building our personal brand, researching and managing start- up expansion, and developing strategic business plans across different sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
0- 6 Months:
- Personal Brand Development: Assist in building and enhancing the founder's personal brand through strategic initiatives and content creation.
- Support Function for RJ Models: Provide indirect support to RJ Models by managing key resources and contributing to their operational needs.
- Sector Research: Conduct comprehensive research on start- ups in various sectors, including travel, fintech, aerospace, and space, to identify trends, opportunities, and key players.
- Ecosystem Creation: Develop a robust ecosystem for start- ups within SSM, including creating and refining viable business plans.
- Pitch Creation: Develop compelling pitches to connect with start- ups and attract potential business opportunities.
7- 18 Months:
- Start- Up Scouting and Deal Closure: Identify and scout potential start- ups, negotiate deals, and close agreements to expand our portfolio.
- Emerging Markets Exploration: Conduct research and identify opportunities in emerging markets such as Africa, Indonesia, and other high- growth regions.
- Contracts and Execution: Oversee the execution of contracts and manage accounts to ensure successful partnerships and operational efficiency.
- Start- Up Management: Manage start- ups within our portfolio, implement macro evaluation processes, and assist in strategic pivots as needed.
19- 36 Months:
- Funding Initiatives: Lead efforts to raise funding for our organization to support and empower additional start- ups.
- Market Expansion: Drive expansion into developed markets, particularly focusing on the USA, to scale our impact.
- Key Account Management: Take a leadership role in managing and being part of the board for 2- 3 key accounts, ensuring effective partnership and growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications a plus.
- 3+ years experience in similar role
- Proven experience in research, strategic planning, and business development.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Notion, and advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling pitches and reports.
- Experience in start- up environments or knowledge of various sectors such as travel, fintech, aerospace, and space is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast- paced, dynamic environment.
