Research Analyst - Food & Agri Sector

- Analyse and research one or more of the Food and Agro sectors as per allocation of coverage beyond basic macro, demand and supply trends.

- Understand company strategies and business models and use this knowledge to extract strategic/commercial/company insights

- Provide and contribute to the Farm Inputs research agenda, in consultation with the Global Sector Strategist Farm Inputs and research team Regional Manager.

- Develop a senior level specialty in all sub sectors in Farm Inputs - including conducting primary research. Also be conversant on cross-sector and beyond Farm and Agro developments

- Deepen research team's knowledge understanding, analysis and sharing of India Farm and Agro market as well as in expanding bank's local network, and sharing this knowledge and network within Global team and bank through team discussions, presentations (internally, with clients, and at conference/seminars) and published reports

- Update the qualitative elements of the sector scatterplots periodically & support the biannual portfolio review

- Translate sector and market knowledge to assist commercial units to develop financial solutions for bank's clients

- Improve bank's access and impact with the strategic decision makers of clients and prospects with sector and market insights

- Establish information sharing networks with industry associations, government departments and major companies.

- Prepare and present thought leadership at important seminars, private and public sector events and media.
