Qualification & Background:

1. We are seeking passionate Commodity research analyst (3-6 years' experience) for our Commodities trading team.

2. You will be joining our team of highly passionate individuals on the Commodity desk, and help build a cutting-edge trading platform.

3. Deep understanding of supply demand dynamics related to commodity markets

4. Close attention to detail and exceptional numerical aptitude and quantitative acumen

5. Team player with strong interpersonal and managerial skills

6. Prior experience in and passion for commodity market fundamental analysis

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Build detailed fundamental commodity supply and demand models by evaluating and improving the data quality as well as writing commodity reports, price outlook and regular monitoring basis primary and secondary research.

2. Thorough knowledge of commodities traded in domestic exchanges like MCX & NCDEX market as well as international exchanges like CME, LME etc. (Energy, bullion, base metals and Agri-commodities)

3. Ability to speak to traders, exporters, importers to understand the fundamental factors that are influencing the prices of the commodities

4. Should have strong understanding of farmer behaviour, crop patterns, structural and dynamic aspects of the agriculture sector.

5. Keeping track of daily market updates and news both International as well as Domestic

6. Must be able to analyze the impact of global economic events on commodities & accordingly guide the traders on their buy/sell positions.

7. Knowledge of Reuters will be an add on.
