ReNew Power - Project Development Role - Wind

- Shall have an Engineering Degree and Post Graduation in Power Management

- Shall have experience in the Development of Renewable Energy Projects with extensive experience in Project Development and land development/ acquisition for Wind Power Projects across the Country

- Shall have expertise and knowledge in all regulatory and statutory compliances, state policies, liaison with state nodal agencies.

- Shall have worked extensively in greenfield/brownfield development of wind/solar PV projects in India and overseas.

Key traits shall include:

- Understanding of Project development cycle for wind and solar PV Projects

- Be well versed with the regulatory and policy framework across various states in India

- Financial modelling and techno-commercial evaluation of the Projects

- Drafting and negotiation of term sheets/Agreements

- Shall led multifunctional teams and provided advisory support to stakeholders and planned strategies that resulted in ensuring effective resource deployment and utilization ensuring all deliverables were achieved.

- Shall overseeing all aspects of Project vendor, & contract management with P&L responsibility

- Shall have the adequate knowledge on the wind energy development business and exploring new development opportunity in various states.

- Shall have the experience in planning the executing the wind projects across all the windy state in India.

- Shall have the adequate knowledge on planning, costing, budgeting related to development of wind project and development activities.

- Shall have the knowledge on the policies, laws and regulation governing the wind business.

- Shall be a good team player with very good soft skills.

- Shall have sound knowledge on the development related agreements/contracts, commercial and strategy of contracting.

- Prepare plan for Project Development and monitor it closely to match the schedule

- Identify and engage with land aggregators/developers on issues related to title of land and its sale deed.

- Shall good Knowledge of Selection of sites criteria and preparation of business plans in anticipation of technology and regulatory framework.

- Shall directed various critical and challenging projects from inception to completion, overseeing all aspects of client, vendor, EPC contractors & contract management with P&L responsibility

- Shall have the sound knowledge of land laws and also must have a knowledge of conversion and mutation procedures.

- Shall coordinate with internal stake holders and external consultants for the smooth operation of project activity for clearances and compliances

- Shall have the experience in coordinating and handling external lawyers, government offices, regulatory agencies.

- Shall provide comprehensive suggestions/ solutions the solution for project permits, approval, land and contract issues.
