ReNew Power Limited is India's largest renewable energy IPP (Independent Power Producer) with a capacity of over 10 GW of wind and solar power assets across the country. It develops, builds, owns and operates utility scale wind and solar energy projects as well as distributed solar energy projects that generate energy for commercial and industrial customers.

Job Purpose:

- To lead the end-to-end power market Operations across Power exchange & Bilateral contracts in the short-to-medium term market and co-ordinate with internal & external stakeholders for 100% compliance.

Roles and Responsibilities -

- Internal Portfolio Management in the short-term power market.

- Lead round the clock Operation for the trading arm for the company.

- Head the overall market operations for Power exchange & Bilateral Trading.

- Bidding, scheduling & settlement in the short-term market.

- Client Registration as required for the market operations.

- Short-term sales related Billing & Invoicing, including co-ordination with internal & external stakeholders as and when required.

- Maximize value from power sales from STOA transactions.

- Support in management reporting - Market MIS & Info Dissemination

- Coordination with PX/SO/RPC etc.

- Co-ordinate with other verticals of the Strategy & markets team.

- Lead a team of 5-8 people across trading, billing, settlement, etc.

Profile & Eligible Criteria -

- The Ideal candidate should have 12-15 years of experience in the power sector and must have worked in an energy trading company with an exposure in power exchange bidding, trading & settlement.


- Prior experience of leading a trading team in an IPP or a trade-co will be an advantage.
