ReNew Power - Financial Analyst - Business Finance

Job Purpose:

Work in different Business Units (Solar / Wind / Asset Management) as part of Business Finance Team to drive Analytics based decision making (including Digitalisation initiatives)

Roles and Responsibilities:

Drive financial analysis in Business Units and enhance data driven decision making

Create actionable insights based on historical and forecasted data

Engage with Business and Finance Leaders to drive action plans based on data

Support Digitalisation & Finance transformation initiatives in Business units (In consultation with the Central Business Finance Team)

Develop and release early warning reports to highlight potential business risks and circulate regular tracker of risks / opportunities

Work with Business Finance Leads / Controllers on various finance related initiatives like:

Annual Business Planning / Budgeting

Enhancing / improving the monthly reviews with Business Heads

Improved Monthly Reporting & Forecasting, Budget control etc.

Competitor Benchmarking for identified KPIs

Support initiatives around cost optimisation, efficiency improvement, revenue enhancement and project capex controlling in respective business units (i.e., Solar, Wind, Asset Management etc.)

Profile & Eligible Criteria:

Finance professional - CA / MBA with 3-5 years of strong experience in Financial Analysis, Planning or Forecasting roles. Candidates with FP&A / MIS experience preferred.

Expert knowledge of MS-PowerPoint and Excel

Working knowledge of SAP. Exposure of emerging Digital technologies like Powerbi, Azure etc. will be an added advantage

Good Oral and Written Communication skills with ability to work with cross functional teams and senior leaders

Business Heads / Functional Heads

CFO and Finance Leadership Team

Finance, Procurement, Operations, IT Teams etc.
