The Pre- Sales Manager is an exciting new position at managerial level for an experienced role, hands-on, execution-oriented from end to- end pre sales cycle.

This role manages the establishment, implementation, and evaluation of profitability goals for business.

This position has direct accountability for the business results of the profitability, penetration and/or volume within a specific account, segment, geographic area, product, or line of business. Pre- Sales should take responsibility for business volume in the company.

The person has experience of giving technical demos and selling Software-As-A-Service Enterprise Software into companies of 500-10,000 employees who fit this profile, co-ordinates/allocates/coach resources, converts key business results into plans & monitors operating plans within own area of responsibility.

Possesses expert/unique knowledge in insurance business. Implements strategy within discipline through technical innovation. Influences top management internally & externally (industry) to accept new ideas. Creates and conceptualizes solutions to Artivatic in specific discipline.

Participates in formulating functional/ business strategy.

Objective of the position:

The goal of pre-sales support is to help the sales and marketing teams find, win, and renew customers.

A well-oiled pre-sales process plays a critical role in identifying and capitalizing on opportunities with new and existing partners and accelerating the sales process.

Role and Responsibilities:

- Define the product vision of category-leading underwriting, claims, sales, data intelligence, risk & decisions AI platforms and/or features for your target markets - including out of the box features, pre-built integrations, APIs, Technology, Data Science, Rules, Pricing and process

- Expert project management, coordination, organization, team building and communication abilities

- Create a large volume generating business line for the organization

- Build a long-term relationship by becoming a trusted client partner and ability to build a good network

- Drive product penetration through technology platform to generate greater margins

- Discover insurance/health needs and requirements, determines customers problem areas and articulates recommended solution(s) or product(s)

- Generate lead's along with sales teams and convert prospects to customers.

- Create and deliver product demonstrations, including product overviews, detailed demonstrations, and client-driven proof-of-concept.

- Coordinates customer meetings and presentations in cooperation with other members of the sales team or related support functions

- Collect and document prospective customer requirements based on interactions with clients and work internally with Product and Engineering groups to create and refine the client presentations

- Support Sales through authoring responses to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs

- Manage RFI/RFP responses and work with sales, services, engineering, product, and finance teams to ensure on-time completion and delivery to clients

- Support marketing initiatives through events, trade show activities and marketing material development

- Provide estimations and project plans for the RFP's in discussion with product and delivery teams

- Delivery Transition: - Transitions the deal to the delivery team post successful conversion - explains the agreed scope and deliverables to the delivery team to ensure a seamless customer experience - Participates in creation of handover plan and works with the delivery team during the handover period

- Work with tech and design team to gather continuous feedback and refine your sales strategy. Enable them through collateral (Presentations, Explainer Videos, etc.)- Building Sales PPTs, sales collaterals, and send to clients

- Understanding of how a solution would work and potential challenges/possibilities engineering and other teams in a manner that they understand

Mandatory traits/ skills:

- Strong pre sales, sales, marketing background with B2B2B SaaS Products specially in finance/insurance/health/payment sector

- Experience to give Product Demo, Client requirements understanding, and delivering, negotiating commercials etc, Pitching products to insurance, brokers, distributors and other customers

- Understanding of new age technologies like AI, ML, NLP for Insurance & health sector

- Analyze market and competitive conditions, laying out a product vision that is differentiated and deliver unique value based on customer, market and regulatory demands

- Coordinates customer meetings and presentations in cooperation with other members of the sales team or related support functions

- Leadership - Ability to drive multiple teams (Engineering, Tech, Marketing & Customer Success) towards a common business and product outcome

- Data-driven with a knack for defining, tracking and analyzing metrics

- Self-starter with the drive of a true hunter

- Motivated to build relationships with a new customer and deliver new business

- Ownership and Accountabilities - For business as well as people

- Exceptional interpersonal skills that can result in impeccable trust, confidence, and results with partners, corporates and teams

- Zeal to learn and gain experience of all stages of the opportunity

Qualifications

- BE-IT/Computers from a top college

- MBA from a business school/University degree

- Minimum 5 years of core pre sales experience working in the Insurance/IT/BFSI domain
