Job Title: Export Manager - Agri Inputs (Pesticides & Fertilizers)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Export Manager to drive international sales and manage global logistics for pesticides, fertilizers, seeds, and other agricultural inputs. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in export operations, shipping, international trade compliance, and customer relationship management across multiple countries.

Key Responsibilities:

Export Sales & Business Development:

- Identify and develop new international markets for agricultural inputs, including pesticides and fertilizers.

- Build and maintain relationships with global customers, distributors, and importers.

- Drive sales growth and achieve export revenue targets.

- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and sales agreements with overseas buyers.

Export Operations & Logistics Management:

- Oversee end-to-end export operations, including documentation, compliance, and regulatory approvals.

- Ensure smooth shipping & logistics operations, coordinating with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs authorities.

- Handle export documentation (LCs, Bill of Lading, Phytosanitary Certificates, etc.).

- Manage risks associated with foreign trade policies, duties, and tariffs.

Regulatory Compliance & Trade Documentation:

- Ensure compliance with export regulations, international trade laws, and agrochemical industry guidelines.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pesticide and fertilizer export policies and import restrictions in different countries.

Customer & Market Intelligence:

- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and potential opportunities.

- Stay informed on changing trade policies, currency fluctuations, and economic factors affecting exports.

- Provide insights on pricing strategies for different international markets.

Key Requirements:

- Education: MBA / PG in International Business, Supply Chain, Agriculture, or a related field.

- Experience: 10-14 years in export management, shipping, global logistics, and international sales of pesticides, fertilizers, seeds, or agri-inputs.

- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of agricultural input markets and international trade regulations.

- Export Operations Expertise: Hands-on experience in handling global customers, export documentation, and logistics coordination.

- Communication Skills: Excellent negotiation, client management, and business development skills.

- Geographical Flexibility: Ability to handle exports to any country and willingness to travel internationally as needed.

- Preferred Candidates: South India-based professionals with relevant experience.
