Credit Bureau Reporting (CBR) Remediation Leader
- The Credit Bureau Reporting Remediation Leader will lead a team of Credit Bureau Reporting Managers responsible for completing account corrections and remediation actions required to drive compliance with regulatory requirements for accuracy in Credit Bureau Reporting.
- The successful candidate will devise root cause analysis strategies and partner cross-functionally with L3 Process Owners and other business stakeholders to drive changes in processes that impact reporting. This includes an ongoing assessment of the control environment to identify if enhancements are needed.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
- Driving process efficiencies by performing Root Cause Analysis on identified data anomalies to drive consistency and accuracy across all functions and credit bureau reporting platforms (e.g., Fiserv, DM10, Vision+)
- Executing and optimizing the correction process for resolving data anomalies from a variety of internal and external information sources (e.g., credit reporting agencies, issue reviews, surveillance findings, and upstream processes that feed reporting accuracy)
- Leading the refinement and redesign of the CBR inventory that tracks:
- Evidence of completion of all actions taken, including closed loop actions requested of business stakeholders (L3 Process Owners, etc.) confirming resolution (either corrected or deemed a false positive)
- Credit Bureau Reporting job aids and process documentation
- Collaborating cross-functionally with Data Office and Surveillance stakeholders to drive alignment with DQ rules, CRRG requirements and business practices
- Supporting sound governance practices by creating new and/or enhancing existing controls based on data anomaly and/or issue trends as applicable
Qualifications / Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- Minimum 8+ years of relevant work experience in financial service industry
- Minimum 5+ years experience in Analytics
- Strong Technical skills in data mining
- 5+ years hands on experience in SAS, SQL, Python, R, Spark, or Hadoop
- Strong working knowledge of Fiserv/Green Screen (Fiserv Query Tools, Open Data Stream), DM10, Vision+, GECOM and/or Allegro platform
- Strong Technical skills in data mining with minimum 1 year of writing SAS, SQL, Python, R, Spark, or Hadoop
- Demonstrated experience analyzing business data with the ability to distill large amount of information down to the critical areas of focus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to independently present explanations of complex subjects to senior management and business stakeholders
- Must be able to work within tight deadlines, prioritize workload, and work well independently
- Proficiency in all Microsoft programs including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, PowerPoint, and Access.
