Job Mandate
- Strong analytical skills and data driven approach to decision making
- Maturity to handle ambiguous business scenarios and arrive at logical business solutions with limited data / uncertainties
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Proficiency in MS-Office is must. Knowledge of BI tools / statistics added advantage
Key Responsibilities
- Looking at mid to long term planning and buying directions/strategies
- Preparing merchandise plans and OTB plans aligned with AOP
- Driving data based decisions for key planning metrics like- Stock cover, GM%, Discounting, Ageing, Sell thru, Full price sell thru
- Take ownership to drive automation and proactive alerts/mechanism within respective functions
- Working with cross functional teams (Product, Finance, SCM, Marketing) to drive bigger strategic projects and initiatives
- Coordinate various project activities with different departments, follow-up on agreed upon milestones and maintain tracker for critical projects with weekly updates
- Conduct analysis for assigned business problem by collecting data from all internal and external sources and perform analysis to get answers to business questions.
- Help in putting together business proposal based on trends etc.
- Put together excel models for business scenario analysis
- Conduct Market research for an assigned topic to dig out relevant data and analytics
Educational Qualifications MBA - Preferably IIMs/ISB/Tier-1 Schools
Prior work experience in Retail / ecommerce / Management Consulting added advantage
Years of Experience 4 - 7 years
