Job Description

Finance Analyst will work closely with a category business teams in creating a real and active partnership and support in creating actions plans to ensure that both short- and long-term strategic priorities and goals are met.

Key Responsibilities/ outcomes

1. Providing analysis and delivering insight that links financial reports to business strategies

2. Improving the impact, and understanding, of financial reporting on business performance

3. Building partnerships and strong relationships with all senior managers and their teams and providing financial support to commercial decision making

4. Delivering analysis and insight on business opportunities

5. Presenting financial performance, full year forecasts and budget variances including understanding financial opportunities and risk. Communicate performance throughout the organization to ensure one set of numbers rather than each function and management team making their own assumptions

6. Challenging current ways of working, driving efficiencies and cost savings wherever possible.

7. Assisting with year-end audit

8. Understanding the cost drivers of the business and providing insight to the non-finance members

9. Providing effective commercial procedures to ensure key operational, commercial and financial targets are delivered.

10. Drive preparation of annual operating plans and long term strategic plans along with category business teams.

Candidate specifications and requirements:

Qualification - Chartered Accountant

Experience:

- Previous experience of working in FP&A/business finance

- Previous experience of working in similar role in large business set-up.

- Experience in dealing with both finance and non-finance leaders

- Experience of bringing financial information together with Non-Financial information.

- Experience in Project Management and dealing the project requirements. - Experience in working in complex financial environment.

- Experience in handling small/large volume of data manipulate, analyse and present the findings to the relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise way.

- Experience in handling various categories - general merchandising, Fashions, Digital, Grocery etc.,

- Total years of experience above 3-6 years
