Reliance Retail, India's largest consumer retail network is expanding its 3P Marketplace business. The Marketplace business is an internet-commerce based platform where sellers across various domains can list their products, pricing and positioning, while receiving support from the marketplace owners in terms of warehouse and logistics. Sellers pay a service fee to the marketplace platform in exchange for the listing and e-commerce services. Responsibilities :

1. Partner with product & business stakeholders to identify issues and use data to propose solutions for effective decision making

2. Deliver rapid prototypes, experiments, Hypothesis testing and Adhoc analysis to support business with data driven decision making.

3. Identify the right model by evaluating various machine learning and Deep learning models

4. Assess the effectiveness of data sources and data-gathering techniques and improve data collection methods

5. Coordinates research and analytic activities utilizing various data points (unstructured and structured) and employ programming to clean, massage, and organize the data.

6. Coordinates with Data Engineers to build data environments providing data identified by Data Analysts, Data Integrators etc..

7. Generating visualizations/insights from data sets and identifying trends and patterns

Preferred Skills & Qualification :

1. Bachelors or Master's in data science from Tier 2/Tier3 institute preferable

2. 5+ years of relevant experience in modern machine learning/statistical techniques data science (Ecommerce Domain)

3. 5+ years of experience in using statistical computer languages (R,Python, SQL etc..)

4. In-depth knowledge in using variety of machine learning techniques/algorithms.

5. Prior experience in Ecommerce domain is a must

6. Experience with relational databases

7. Experience in developing Tableau reports/dashboards

8. Ability to work in a start-up like environment.

9. Ability to disambiguate complex business problems
