Role Summary :
- Assist business vertical in executing business plans for the coal mines, monitor and ensure smooth operation of the existing mine assets. Contract management and need validation for Opex items and additional Capex items, budget control, business analysis, financial modeling and regulatory issues.
Qualification : Essential - BE
Preferred : MBA - Marketing / Operations / Finance
Experience : About 06-14 Years in power industry.
Exposure to high / dynamic growth environment particularly in a large / multi-unit corporate, extensive network / contacts / corporate relations would be an added advantage.

- Strong in financial modeling, presentation skills and MS Office especially excel and power point
- Evaluation of new commercial opportunities for the project
- Negotiations, contracts, regulatory aspects, litigation
- Knowledge of SAP - MM Module
Key Responsibilities :
Financial :
- Assist in preparation of Annual Operating Plan consisting of Revenue, Expenditure, P&L and Cash flow plan for the financial year
- Impact analysis on economics of the coal mine project due to change in operational parameters and macro / micro economic parameters
- Analysis and evaluation of purchase proposals and suggest means of optimization
Operational :
- Prepare monthly contract MIS reports and status of payments
- Analyzing Bill of Quantity, timing of Procurement and budget availability for O&M and suggest means of optimization (need validation)
- Constant interaction with site O&M team, CPG team, EPC (finance & project execution teams), project finance team, corporate & site F&A teams and legal team to identify factors impacting project economics
- Management of contract issues and evaluation of various purchase proposals
Customer :
- Coordination with site operations and maintenance teams of coal mines for efficient running of the coal mines and achievement of targets
People :
- Maintain a high performance culture through effective training and coaching in line with Organizational values and ethics
- Ensure continuous skill up-gradation
