Manager - Legal (Litigation)
Position : Manager
Department : Legal
Specific Responsibilities :
- Support the business in handling litigation matters with Ombudsman, Consumer forum and Civil Courts, High Courts
- Draft replies to legal notices received from customers, third parties
- Draft legal notices in case of disputes
- Review & monitor of cases and maintain legal case tracker
- Handle legal issues relating employee matters, Criminal law issues, drafting of Police Complaints etc.
- Handle Criminal litigation and court craft, interact with Police
- Drive initiatives from the legal perspectives under Control Committee
- Support the business in post-contract implementation stage
- Support the business in the event of disputes/litigation arising out of the terms and conditions of the contracts
Experience :
8 - 10 years in Legal Function, preferably in BFSI
Qualification : Law graduate from a premier legal institution
Desired Skill :
- Excellent drafting skills
- Able to communicate well and work in cross functional team to achieve common goals,
- Strong Management skills
- Independent and self motivated
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and respond to business needs and goals
- Able to demonstrate and provide commitment for a long term career in RLIC.
