Lead Instructional Design
Job Description:
- Intakes, develops and manages end-to-end course development and design processes, for varied learning methods (ILTs, vILTs, Digital, Blended, Simulations, etc.).
- Consults with business leaders, stakeholders, and SMEs to identify learning gaps, learning outcomes, course modality and high-impact learning practices.
- Creates engaging learning resources and compelling course content.
- Partners with creative teams to create and integrate multimedia and audio/visual elements into the learning programs.
- Performs learning needs analysis to inform creative approaches for the deliverables.
- Works with time-effort estimates and oversees the execution at various phases of the project life cycle.
- Performs high-quality review of all instructional materials, resources, and activities.
- Develops metrics, reporting and remediation of all training programs.
- Research to understand industry best practices to discover important innovations and trends in learning & facilitate its incorporation within the existing learning modules.
Basic Qualification & Skills Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR/ L&D. Ideal candidate would have a background into hospitality/retail.
- 7 years' experience in core instructional design function including training needs analysis, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating training or performance improvement\ programs.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and a desire to spend a considerable amount of time writing and editing.
- Experience developing learning program strategies and products that are scalable and sustainable in a high growth business environment.
- Attention to detail and eye for visual design.
- Strong initiative, consulting skills and drive for results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
