Business Development (Tier 1 Colleges Only) The Business Development function has two key aspect 1. Establishing new business partnerships for the organization in essence focused towards the inorganic growth of the organization 2. Business Intelligence unit of the organisation Key Responsibilities: 1. Weekly business intelligence reports 2. Tracking of key stocks / retail companies in India, globally and RBL partner brands 3. Tracking of local fashion trends and well as international trends 4. Research &amp; analysis on brands / categories 5. Creating business plans based on the market intelligence and research undertaken 6. Supporting in terms of negotiations for commercials 7. Supporting in terms of negotiations of term sheets and agreements Desired Functional Skills - Business Analysis / Analytical bent of mind - Data Management - Communication Exchange - Conversations / coordination with potential partners - Negotiations Desired Behavioral Skills : - Ability to work without a specific structure - a new category / business negotiation may not have a pre-defined structure around it. - Interpersonal Skills - Small team but needs to work across the board with various BH's, buyers, planners, finance, legal etc. - Taking Initiative and having the patience and perseverance (as deals can take a long time).
