SME / Mid-Market Relationship Manager

Location: Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad etc.

Job Summary:


- We are seeking a highly skilled SME / Mid-Market Relationship Manager to join our client's dynamic team.


- This role is crucial for managing and expanding portfolio of corporate clients, driving business development, and delivering exceptional customer service.


- The ideal candidate will possess a basic understanding of credit assessment, financial analysis, and have a proven track record in business development and portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct market scoping, segmenting, and targeting to acquire new clients in alignment with the organization's risk appetite.

- Drive revenue growth by engaging with banks, brokers, corporates, CA firms, trade associations, and chambers of commerce.

- Represent the company at industry events, seminars, and trade fairs to build and nurture professional networks.

- Work closely with various internal teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients.

- Ensure effective teamwork to meet client needs and organizational goals.

- Manage a high-quality portfolio of corporate clients with a focus on both acquiring new business and deepening existing relationships.

- Generate new business leads and explore opportunities for portfolio expansion.

- Partner with clients throughout their lifecycle to ensure service excellence.

- Offer suitable products and services based on clients' financial needs while maintaining fairness to both the customer and the bank.

- Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients' business operations and financials.

- Collaborate with the Credit team to prepare detailed and high-quality appraisal notes.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

- MBA, Chartered Accountant, or a relevant graduate degree.

- 4 to 12 years of work experience in a related field.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor conversations to meet client needs and ensure excellent service delivery.

- Basic grasp of financial analysis, including balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow statements.
