JOB TITLE/DESIGNATION - Relationship Manager-Retail Broking
JOB PURPOSE

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
(List the principal duties, activities, and responsibilities for the position in the descending order of importance.)
1. Constant Prospecting of Distribution Channels with good manpower and customer base. This included
IRDA Brokers, Corporate Agents and Third Party Distributors
2. Preparation of Business Plans / Presentations for the top management of the Channel Partner and
Commercial Negotiations and Finalization of Business Plans.
3. Maintaining the Pipeline Funnel for the Target relationships
4. Focussed Business Alliance Plan on Channel Development through Corporate Agents
5. Ensure that the Business Plan is on Track and Monthly Numbers are met.
6. Provide adequate support to the channel partner to build a long lasting relationship
7. Introducing new products & Cross selling opportunities within the Channel Partner.
8. Ensure effective implementation of processes set by corporate office
OTHER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

General Management
- Monitor and optimize the cost of acquisition of the channel.
- Monitor service levels for Brokers in terms of quote presentations, policy deliverance, post policy issuance within the agreed TAT.
- Ensure effective communication of the premium target to the respective Relationship Managers in consultation with the Zonal Head - Retail
- Strategize for target completion and client relationship development.
- Ensure effective implementation of processes set by corporate office.
- Training & development of RMs and constant review of their performance.
- Update the Vertical head on market competition and business figures on a daily basis.
- Adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
Troubleshooting with :
(a) Underwriting team for policy approval.
(b) Operations/Corporate team for policy issuance.
(c) Regional Claims Team for Claims settlement
(d) Finance team for timely disbursement.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

1. Exposure to set up New Channels in Insurance
2. Exposure to Broker Relations will be a huge advantage
3. Exposure to General Insurance Sales
