Relationship Manager- Loan Against Securities
1. Business Development: Expanding the client base and driving new business by acquiring new customers interested in availing loans against Shares. This involves prospecting, networking, and conducting marketing activities to generate leads and convert them into clients.
2. Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. This includes regular communication, addressing client queries and concerns, and providing personalized solutions based on their financial needs.
3. Loan Portfolio Growth: Achieving targets related to the growth of the Loan against the Shares portfolio. The RM should actively work on disbursing loans, managing the loan book, and ensuring timely repayments to minimize default risks.
4. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct thorough risk assessments of potential borrowers to ensure they meet the firm's credit criteria. The RM should carefully evaluate the value of shares provided as collateral and assess the borrower's creditworthiness.
5. Compliance and Documentation: Ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to Loan against Shares. This includes maintaining accurate records, verifying documents, and following proper loan approval processes.
6. Cross-Selling: Identifying opportunities to cross-sell other financial products and services offered by the investment firm to existing clients, such as investment products, insurance, or wealth management services.
7. Market Research and Analysis: Staying updated with market trends, industry developments, and competitor offerings related to Loan against Shares. This information can help the RM tailor their approach and offer competitive solutions.
8. Performance Reporting: Providing regular reports to the management on the loan portfolio's performance, new business acquired, revenue generated, and any other relevant metrics.
