About the Role:
- As an Investment Relationship Manager, you will play a crucial role in acquiring new clients and managing their mutual fund investments.
- Your responsibilities will span client acquisition, portfolio management, relationship building, market analysis, compliance, client education, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition:
- Identify and onboard new clients interested in mutual fund investments through various channels such as direct sales, referrals, and networking.
- Conduct initial meetings to understand clients' financial goals, risk appetite, and investment preferences.
Portfolio Management:
- Assist clients in constructing and optimizing their mutual fund portfolios based on their financial objectives, risk tolerance, and market conditions.
- Continuously monitor and rebalance portfolios to ensure alignment with clients' evolving needs and market trends.
Relationship Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients by providing regular updates on their investments, market insights, and performance reviews.
- Address client inquiries promptly and effectively to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
Market Analysis:
- Stay informed about market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes affecting mutual fund investments.
- Provide clients with timely and informed advice on investment opportunities and risks.
Compliance:
- Ensure all investment activities adhere to regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Keep accurate records and documentation of client interactions and transactions.
Client Education:
- Conduct educational sessions, seminars, and workshops to educate clients on mutual fund products, investment strategies, and financial planning best practices.
- Empower clients to make informed decisions aligned with their financial goals.
Sales Targets:
- Work towards achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets for mutual fund investments.
- Proactively identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within the client base.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of mutual funds, financial markets, and investment principles.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients and convey complex financial information clearly.
- Sales Orientation: Proven track record in sales, with the ability to meet and exceed targets.
- Analytical Abilities: Ability to perform market analysis, assess investment opportunities, and manage risk effectively.
- Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory requirements governing investment products.
- Client Focus: Dedication to understanding and meeting clients' needs with integrity and professionalism.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g, CFA, CFP) and prior experience in investment advisory or wealth management roles are advantageous
