Job Title: Relationship Manager
Department Inclusive: Finance Institutions (IFI)
Location: Mumbai
Grade: AVP/DVP
Eligible Employee: AVP/DVP
Reporting To Head - Inclusive Finance Institutions
A.Position Purpose :
To develop & manage relationships with Financial Institutions catering to Micro Finance, affordable housing finance, other NBFCs in the social impact sector and small finance banks. To build and manage Transaction & Digital Banking relationships with Financial Institutions and assist in evaluating and setting up impact investment segment focused to deliver social impact in sectors such as Agriculture, Financial Inclusion, Affordable Education & Healthcare, Water & Sanitation, Skill development, etc.
B.Position Responsibilities :
Sr. Key Responsibilities :
1. Client acquisition, Portfolio management and product development
- Relationship Management
- Develop and implement structured products
- Client Due Diligence & Portfolio monitoring(PAN India)
- Industry Interface/External Advocacy - Impact Funds/PE Funds/Industry experts/ External Forums and regulators
2. Prepare the credit approval/renewal memorandum, credit analysis, credit presentation of the team.
- Credit Underwriting and Financial Analysis
- Prepare renewal and new proposal memorandums
- Client wise risk monitoring
- Monitor Industry related risks
3. Focus on offering financial solutions to IFI clients for their term loans, working capital, and investment banking requirements along with liability generation for the bank
- Assess & Meet Clients funding requirements
- Focus on Cross Sell products (Salary A/cs, Insurance, CMS, and other transaction banking offerings etc)
- Goal to become primary banker to client
4. Sustained revenue generation and achievement of the targets set out in the budget for the year for IFI Business. Reaching Revenue/Thruput/ Acquisition targets. Actively and consistently seek an opportunity to expand share of wallet of the customer base through
- Meet Advance and investment targets
- Focus on increasing NII
- Other Income (Fee/DCM/FX/SBLC)
- Build CASA Book
- Transaction/Digital Banking sales coverage.
- Work towards portfolio deepening through other products
5. Liaise with various teams, oversee smooth delivery & execution of transactions and monitor and handle exceptions.
- Documentation execution and disbursement
- Exceptions tracking and follow-ups
- Covenant tracking
- Documentation compliance
- Adhere to regulatory requirements
C.Qualifications and Experience Requirement
Qualifications :
- Essential MBA - Finance or CA or Masters in Sustainable development.
Experience :
- Essential 5-7 years in Banking, Financial services company, Impact funds with prior experience in the sector.

- Proven experience working with multiple stakeholders/Businesses with different methodologies and approaches
- Credit writing skills with comprehensive coverage of all risk-related issues
- Strong communication skills - verbal, and written (including report writing, presentations, etc);
- Ability to spot new business opportunities;
Knowledge Working knowledge of :
- Client business including working capital and growth requirements
- Risk Identification(Credit/investment, operational, industry and general economy-related), mitigation and management
