Job Description:

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for establishing a local distribution network for home loans through contact points and direct marketing activities such as self-initiated site visits, pamphlet distribution, and other promotional efforts.

This role involves the creation and empanelment of contact points, which are often the initial touchpoints for individuals looking to build or buy a home.

These contact points include cement dealers, building materials suppliers (steel rods, bricks, gravel, sand), building planners, small-scale engineers, masons, sanitaryware dealers, and others.

The employee will have complete charge of the assigned location and is expected to develop and maintain strong relationships with contact points and existing borrowers.

The primary focus will be on the distribution of affordable housing loans.

This position offers a significant opportunity to gain exposure to the affordable home loan industry and engage with all aspects of the job.

Key Responsibilities:

- Sales and Business Development: Achieve home loan disbursement goals by executing a business plan that includes prospecting, networking, and field-based marketing activities.

- Product Promotion: Present and promote home loans to prospective clients both in person and through digital platforms, including social media.

- Customer Relationship Management: Conduct thorough customer profiling during each call or visit to understand client needs and recommend appropriate loan products.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to generate referrals and ensure timely loan servicing.

- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with the credit team to ensure the timely disbursement of loans by assisting applicants in providing the necessary documentation for loan assessment and disbursement.

- Market Awareness: Stay informed about current industry trends, products, services, and underwriting guidelines.

- Field Activities: Engage in field-based activities and marketing initiatives to generate home loan leads as directed by the branch manager.

- Customer Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of a home loan, from application processing to the end of the customer's journey with the organization.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

- Must be a Graduate from any stream.

- Should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in retail sales.

- Prior experience in the BFSI sector is advantageous.

- Must possess strong communication skills.

- Must own a two-wheeler with a valid driving license.

Note: This role is location-based and does not require daily attendance at the branch.
