Job Title: Relationship Manager Retail Sales
Position Purpose:
- Work with distributors across assigned channels to ensure continuous subscription to the organization's funds and achieve sales targets.
- Maintain a balanced mix across all products to optimize sales performance.
Principal Accountabilities:
Generating Business:
- Contribute to sustained sales growth through initiatives focused on long-term development of distributor relationships and market penetration.
- Establish and execute sales plans to meet annual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly targets.
- Maintain call reports and implement the organization's sales process effectively.
- Drive profitability and market share from the sourced Assets Under Management (AUM).
Building Positive Relationships:
- Strengthen relationships with current channel partners and distributors to enhance brand presence and increase sales.
- Regularly communicate with channel partners to maintain and improve relationships.
- Ensure distributors have comprehensive knowledge of the organization's funds and products.
- Provide support on marketing materials, product information, and investment strategies.
Sales Support & Market Intelligence:
- Collaborate with product and research teams to support channel partners effectively.
- Assist in responding to complex customer inquiries and provide sales support to both existing and new relationships.
- Gather market and competitor intelligence on investment strategies and share insights within the organization.
Knowledge, Skills, Competencies:
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of investment concepts and products in asset management, particularly in equity and fixed income markets.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and solve problems.
- Relationship Management: Aptitude for fostering positive relationships with channel partners.
- Certifications: NISM Series V - Mutual Funds Distributor Module certified.
