Relationship Manager - Custody Sales/Private Equity/FDI - Bank

Our client is one of the leading Private banks in the BFSI space, and they are currently looking for qualified CA/CFA/MBA to as join as Relationship Mangers in their Financial Institution Group of Wholesale Banking Arm. The Financial Institutions Group (FIG) exclusively provides comprehensive banking services to various constituents in the financial sector i.e. mutual funds, insurance companies, private equity and real estate funds, consultancies, NBFCs and other financial sector entities

The Roles and Responsibilities for the said role are as follows :

1. Originate commercial banking business from Indian and foreign private equity and real estate funds to achieve strong fee income (FX, custody, escrow, CMS) and sustainable high current account balances.

2. Hands-on relationship management of bank's existing select private equity/real estate fund clients and deeper mining for enhanced business

3. End-to End internal coordination for transactions, regular account management for private equity and real estate funds with multiple internal departments like treasury, custody, escrow, CMS and other operations departments.

4. Origination of clients in the Consultancy segment for liability, FX and credit products.

The Job Requirements for the said role are as follows :

1. MBA from reputed institutes or CA or CFA. Candidates without aforesaid qualifications may be considered only if candidate has hardcore relevant work experience

2. Overall work experience in banking and financial services of around 5-8 years of which hands-on experience of at least 2 years as a business development Relationship Manager for private equity segment sourcing FX, custody, trade and liability related products would be preferred

3. Sound background knowledge of financial sector at large with specific interest of the private equity environment in particular.

4. Sound sales orientation with persistence and drive to break into sticky business.

5. Familiarity with trade, FX, custody, escrow accounts, cash management services is necessary

6. Some basic experience of having managed asset (credit) business is necessary

7. Existing relationships with private equity/real estate funds preferred
