Background :
The Corporate Banking Group's principal objective is to achieve a sustainable revenue stream by diversifying existing revenue sources and building granularity in the income base.
Purpose of the Job :
Relationship manager is responsible for financial evaluation and analysis of clients for whom the proposals have come in for debt financing. RM undertakes the credit analysis and contours of the facility that can be offered to the client. Credit appraisal note is then prepared by the RM.
Once the sanction is received, documentation is completed in coordination with the client and the control groups such as Credit Middle Office Group, Planning, Legal. RM also interacts and builds relationship with the client to service any requirements that arise in day-to-day functioning and also assists the relationship manager in acquisition of new clients.
Key deliverables :
- Completing financial analysis for companies with respect to proposals for working capital and term loan financing
- Ensure quality and timely submission of credit appraisal notes
- Completing post-disbursement documentation activities in coordination with control groups such as Legal, Credit Middle Office, Planning
- Managing portfolio of corporate clients
- Support the team in achieving business targets, acquiring and onboarding new clients
- Client servicing
Key skills :
- Understanding of financial statements such as Balance sheet, Cash flow statements
- Knowledge of computation of key financial ratios
- Knowledge of Basic Banking Instruments and Corporate Banking Debt Instruments
- Communication and presentation skills
