Treasury Regulatory Reporting (AM and Mgrs)
Mandatory Experience:
- Strong experience in Group Treasury Capital/Liquidity, Credit Risk, Market Risk or Regulatory Reporting acting as a Senior Business Analyst or SME.
- Strong understanding of regulatory capital concepts, Credit risk calculation methodologies (STD/IRB/BIS), Credit risk reporting and key banking products including but not limited to loans, derivatives, and trading assets.
- Exposure of calculating exposure under SACCR approach
- Knowledge of complex financial instruments and aligned systems
- Review of Reg Reporting process and analyses regulatory standards, current interpretations, and solution
- Review and identify additional control issues.
- Establish and agree actions to enhance controls where required.
- Coordinate requests and responses from/to stakeholders, e.g., internal auditors, skilled persons, etc.
- Assist BAU teams in remediating and documenting controls.
- Working with the Business to understand their products and alongside Technical BAs and Engineers to document module specifications and build the calculations.
- Document business requirements - Be accountable for clearly articulating Assumptions, Interpretations, Non-functional and Data Requirements
- Developing BRDs, Performing UAT testing
- Prepare and execute module test cases.
- Involved in finance transformation work as a Finance Change BA driving forward such transformation initiatives
- Ensuring integrity and completeness of financial records.
- Preparation and review responsibilities of following work performed by the team involving accounting functions for one or more clients
- Continuously innovate with focus to improve process - enhance efficiencies and add value
- Ensuring compliance with finance control standards for the reporting entity.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Minimum experience 6 Years in Regulatory Reporting on Credit Risk, Counterparty Credit Risk & Market Risk etc.
- B. Com, B.Sc., B.E, Postgraduate accounting qualification, CA, or MBA
- Strong understanding on Expected Credit Loss (ECL), PD, LGD, EAD, EL.
- Strong data analysis and basic understanding of data models
- Knowledge of SQL or Python and have a basic understanding ETL/data warehouse concept. Having some previous exposure to process improvement and project management methodologies would be preferred.
- Experience with PowerBI and Alteryx (or similar) will be viewed favorably, as will experience with Moody's Risk Authority
- Can work effectively independently and as part of a team.
- Clear & concise written and verbal communication skills and ability to engage with all levels of management including non-technical stakeholders
