Position: Regulatory Affairs Professional - Food & Agri (R&D)

Experience: 5 to 10 yrs

Location: Bangalore

CTC: 18 to 22 lacs

Job Description:

- Experience in a regulatory related role in Ag, Food, chemical, or plant protection industry (5 + years); with most time in a fertilizer product company with a knowledge on state requirements for registration of Ag products and about FSSAI.

- Knowledge of fertilizer & food laws & regulations - Stays up-to-date and ensures compliance with laws and regulations.

- Knowledge in registration/product approval/proprietary approval process - knows the type of information and documents to be generated for registration of products.

- Experience dealing with regulatory authorities and policymakers

- Experience working in a matrix organization

- Familiarity with risk assessment

- Candidates having experience of India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka region will be preferred.

- Should be able to review & interpret the requirement as per country specific guideline

- Should be able to communicate with relevant functions for procurement of required regulatory documents

- Ability to effectively monitor industry and regulatory activities and assess impact on key compounds

- Should be able to communicate with relevant counterpart at country

- Good scientific writing and ability to prepare compelling technical arguments

- Excellent verbal communication skills in English

- Excellent organizational and analytical skills

- Attention to detail and thoroughness, particularly under time pressure

- Proactive attitude and a strong motivation towards working in time bound manner

- Ability to use computers and to work disciplined with database management

- Ability to work in a multicultural, de-centralized and multifunctional team
