Job Title - Regional Training Manager - South
Role Objective
- Support achievement of regional sales and targets through standardized, consistent and quality training
Principal Accountabilities
- Devise regional training strategy in consultation with Area Managers/ Business Development
- To plan and manage sales/product training in the region
- Ensure implementation of standardized training modules
- Allocate brand focus with regards to training, have a clear understanding of % of time allotted to each category
- Define training competencies and ensure that these are both well communicated and adhered to across the region
- Provide necessary training support to BD/AM/Training team to achieve business targets based on location strategy
- Maintain service excellence through effective training modules and consistent roll out of these modules pan India
- Maintain appropriate balance of training across all categories
- Enhance & build training teams across regions through team building, competency development & cross functional communication.
- Planning and scheduling the training sessions
- Training reports
- New product launches support
- Merchandising
- Certification of the trainers
- Managing and standardizing the training infrastructure
- Recruitment, induction and training of the training team
- Conducting high-end training sessions
Profile
Education
- Bachelor’s degree
- MBA (Marketing)
- Diploma in training [preferable]/Training Specialization
Experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience in team management & training management
Knowledge and skill set
- Leadership skills
- Training management skills
- Systems knowledge
- Communication skills
- Management skills
- Business acumen
- Knowledge of any of the South India languages is mandatory
