Regional Trade Marketing Manager for plays a crucial role in developing and executing marketing strategies tailored specifically for the modern trade channel, which includes supermarkets, hypermarkets, and large retail chains.
Job Summary:
The Trade Marketing Manager for General Trade is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns aimed at maximizing brand visibility, driving sales, and enhancing the overall customer experience within the modern trade channel. This role involves collaborating closely with sales, marketing, and key retail partners to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Strategy Development: Develop comprehensive trade marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives, focusing on driving sales and increasing market share within the modern trade channel.
2) Campaign Planning and Execution: Plan and execute trade marketing campaigns, promotions, and activations tailored to the unique needs and characteristics of modern trade partners.
3) Merchandising and Shelf Management: Work closely with retail partners to optimize product placement, visibility, and shelf space within stores to maximize sales and enhance brand presence.
4) POS Materials Development: Coordinate the development and production of point-of-sale (POS) materials, including displays, signage, and promotional materials, to support marketing campaigns and initiatives.
5) Promotional Activities: Plan and implement promotional activities, trade incentives, and consumer promotions to drive foot traffic, increase product trial, and stimulate purchase within modern trade outlets.
6) Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities within the modern trade channel, providing insights to inform marketing strategies and tactics.
7) Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams such as sales, marketing, product development, and supply chain to ensure alignment of trade marketing initiatives with overall business goals and objectives.
8) Budget Management: Manage the trade marketing budget effectively, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI and achieve desired business outcomes.
9) Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key modern trade partners, including retailers and distributors, to drive collaboration, secure promotional opportunities, and negotiate favorable terms and agreements.
10) Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and analyze the performance of trade marketing initiatives, tracking key metrics such as sales lift, ROI, and market share, and provide regular reports and insights to management and stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills:
1) MBA from Top Tier B School only
2) Relevant FMCG experience is a MUST
