About our Client - Our client is one of the leading players in the Automotive Refinish industry with a strong presence across the globe. They are widely regarded as an employer of choice and are known for their innovative products and brands. They have a significant presence in the India market, and are currently looking to recruit a Regional Segment Manager (Product Management) for their Automotive refinish business in Asia and Middle East based out of Bangalore.
Job Description - Reporting to Global segment Manager based out of Europe, you will develop and implement the regional segment plan for Premium & Commercial Vehicle Business in Asia and Middle East region with the following objectives:
- Develop & Implement regional premium & commercial vehicle segment plan respecting overall segment strategy while maximizing results within the region aligned with sales
- Market and competitive analysis using local market intelligence
- Define brand plan including:
- product assortment, new product development, price positioning and target ex-works price
- Ensure proper resources to reach segment business goals and needs
- Understanding market performance of products and repair system – Car Refinishes and competitors, including competitive benchmarking and complaint analysis
- Understanding assortment profitability and profit improvement opportunities
- Work closely with the Communications, colors, brand activation and sales support team to implement the Segment projects
- Develop relevant products portfolio strategy by understanding customer needs, market dynamics and competitor landscape
- Develop elaborate product profile & business cases for new product introduction and launch plan aligned with communications.
The Successful Candidate - You will have:
- University degree - Marketing/Business and/or Chemistry related. MBA is a plus.
- 9+ years of experience in product management function (in Vehicle Refinish) with proven success in position of increasing responsibility.
- Vehicle Refinish experience or managing product portfolio for a B2B business is a plus.
- Open to travel across the globe
- Able to work in a matrix organization & international environment
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Past experience in leading &working in cross functional teams
