JOB DESCRIPTION – Regional Sales Manager (RSM)

ABOUT EC-Council: The International Council of E-Commerce Consultants (EC-Council) is a member-based organization that certifies individuals in various information security and e-business skills. EC-Council has been certified by American National Standards Institute to meet its ANSI 17024 standard. It is the owner and creator of the world famous Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Computer Hacking Forensics Investigator (CHFI) and EC-Council Certified Security Analyst (ECSA)/License Penetration Tester (LPT) programs, and as well as many others programs, that are offered in over 87 countries through a training network of more than 450 training partners globally. As of 31st Dec 2011, we have trained more than 100000 professional and certified over 50000 of them.

POSITION: REGIONAL SALES MANAGER (RSM)

This position is the leader of a selling Team comprised of Territory Representatives and Specialists. This leader is accountable for achieving the Regional sales and profitability goals. This role provides direction and leadership to the field Regional Staff while responsible for the customer satisfaction and market share within the Regional geography. Targets will be based on Courseware sales.

Job Description:

- Provide quality leadership for existing and new customers in all assigned tasks, while upholding EC- Councils reputation at all times, inclusive of constructive problem solving, facilitating creative improvements, and supporting the partners.

- Achieves the Region’s revenue and profitability quotas for all EC-Council’s training. Certification segments within Region.

- Establishes an environment and foundation for future sales growth. Sells and teaches others how to sell value and solutions to the end customers.

- Directs the selling activities within the Region, inclusive of resource deployment and customer interactions.

- Prioritizes effectively and in accordance with corporate objectives.

- Efficiently manages the regional partners and support them to help them gain more market business

- Identify the big corporates, training houses, educational, academic and Government bodies in the region and extend EC- Councils products to them

- Manage the team to ensure productivity and assure time management to support sales in the region

- Conduct Presentations and visit partners to extend Support

- Conduct Joint promotional activities with partners to boost sales

- Responsible for the Region’s forecasting and sales tracking.

- Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information, identify trends that effect current and future growth of regional sales and profitability

- Work on special Marketing and Branding projects for the region as assigned.

Education & Experience

- MBA or technical graduate degree preferred.

- 3+ years of techno-sales experience.

- Training/ educational/ IT industry experience is a must

- Understanding of the regional culture and market is a must.

- Developing customer relationships.

- Understanding technologies and cyber-security market trend will help

Technical Knowledge, Skills & Expertise

Must have both the sales skills and technical knowledge to make presentations and lead customer discussions to advance the sales process. Must have the ability to develop and work extensively at the executive level.

- Ability to self-motivate and multi-task and work independently or within a team

- Success Factors

- Strong leadership skills;

- Able to deliver business value to the sales operation and customer.

- Strong presentation skills,

- Ability to develop relationships and work extensively at the executive level.

- Outstanding Written and Verbal Communication Skills.

- Fluent in English

- Maximum number of regional languages preferred

- Direct interaction with the Partners, Marketing, Peers, and Customers will comprise a major portion of this assignment.

- Travel required.
