Regional Sales Manager – South East Asia Market
Job Description
Torres Networks is on an aggressive growth path and is looking to expand sales globally.
We are seeking an experienced telecom sales professional to take our products to market in South East Asia (Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, Vietnam etc.)
Role Summary
- This is essentially a hunting role working closely with management, pre-sales and product teams to pursue named mobile operator accounts in the region. The Regional Sales Manager will be assigned a revenue target for 2013 and will be incentivized on the accomplishment of the target. This position will be based in Bangalore, India but travel extensively in the assigned geographies.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- New client acquisition, relationship management in existing accounts, working closely with management and product teams to design proposals, create and manage negotiation positions, review contracts,
collections etc.
- Build a strong sales funnel, provide reliable forecasts and deliver against forecasts
- Be hands on in developing proposals and proactive solutions for customers/prospects
- Work closely with marketing to generate leads and establish brand equity
- Be an effective manager as well as an individual contributor.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Atleast 6 years of hunting experience in the service provider segment with significant exposure to the
South East Asian market
- Strong understanding of mobile networks architectures
- Ability to build relationships with senior players within key organizations
- An intuitive and pragmatic approach to value and consultative based selling
- Excellent skills in relationship management, negotiations and conflict resolution
- Ability to define customer value propositions
- Strong service provider / channel network in the target market will be greatly valued
Compensation
- Compensation will be very competitive and commensurate with the candidate’s experience. The compensation plan will comprise of fixed and goal based components, stock options and comprehensive benefits.
