A leading firm in the education sector is looking for a Regional Education Manager to lead, coach and mentor their customer development team.
- The Regional Education Manager (REM) will report to VP – Customer Development (VP-CD). The REM will be responsible for leading, training, managing and contributing to the development of an outside and inside 15-20 highly qualified regional sales team that is poised to quickly expand.
- The REM will ensure that the regional sales team has the guidance, resources, and skill to dramatically increase sales line by identifying market opportunities, driving new business, and expanding on a base of existing customers. The REM will work closely with the VP - CD to develop short- and long-term strategies to efficiently grow the total business.
- The REM will be expected to spend approximately 60 – 70% time in the field working directly with sales representatives and customers, and will maintain several of his/her own accounts with high-profile customers.
- We are looking for MBAs between the age of 32 & 35, from Tier 1 B Schools only. Salary will not be a constraint for the right candidate.
- Prior work experience in the Education Services (k12) industry would be preferable. We are open to looking at candidates with B2B solution selling experince / HNI, wealth management background / IT, enterprise solution sales / Media Sales / Healthcare & pharma sales. Experience in an entrepreneurial set up / prior work on new product or new market launch would be an added advantage. The candidate should have had team building and sales management experience, must have recruited, retained and managed 10-30 member high-achiever teams.
