This role requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership, strategic planning, and customer relationship management skills to expand market share and achieve business objectives in the sports footwear category. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Revenue Growth: - Develop and execute regional sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets. - Identify growth opportunities, build sales pipelines, and ensure consistent order fulfillment. - Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies to maintain market competitiveness. Channel & Key Account Management: - Build and manage relationships with distributors, retailers, and key accounts in the region. - Negotiate agreements with channel partners to ensure optimal product placement and visibility. - Regularly visit stores to ensure adherence to brand guidelines and gather market insights. Team Management: - Recruit, train, and manage a team of Area Sales Managers and Sales Executives. - Set performance targets, monitor progress, and provide coaching to enhance team productivity. - Foster a high-performing culture focused on collaboration and results. Market Insights & Reporting: - Analyze regional sales data to track performance, identify trends, and develop actionable insights. - Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior management. - Provide feedback on customer preferences, market demands, and competitive activity. Promotions & Branding: - Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and drive brand visibility. - Ensure effective merchandising and promotional activities across the region. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is preferred. - Experience: 10 -15 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing sales in the sports footwear or consumer goods industry. Skills: - Strong knowledge of sales channels, distribution, and retail management. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills. - Proficiency in data analysis and sales performance tools.
