Handling West
- Responsible for achievement of sales and profitability objectives for West India
- Manage and motivate a team of Area Managers and the Commercial team.
- Ensure Market Development and exploit distribution-led sales opportunity
- Develop a region strategy to achieve objectives of sales-growth and market share
- Conceptualize and execute geographically focused sales activities to enhance business growth and profitability
- Responsible for driving and achievement of top line Value and Volume budgets for Company Trade vertical in the assigned geography as above.
- Channel Management
- Touring in entire West markets to drive the execution at grass roots.
- Effective planning, management and utilization of sales promotion budgets to achieve the top line.
- Team Management drive efficiencies, keep attrition under control
- Achievement of business objectives and Infrastructure development.
- Strengthening distribution and Implementation of company initiatives.
- Integration of various Business Units, Stockists and Field Force.
- To prepare and submit to Top management plans for products to be launched based on the market studies conducted. Such plans to include tentative sales budgets, pricing & margins,
- To prepare detailed plans for the following, after the decision on Products to be launched is taken: [a] Long term goals & objectives [b] Annual & short term sales budgets, discounts & credit terms to distributors & dealers [e] pricing & margins.
- To plan for the requisite number of sales personnel required & their terms and after their appointment, to lead, train & motivate them to achieve pre-set goals.
- To identify & appoint Distributors & Dealers on approved terms.
- Prepare & obtain approval for annual expense budgets relating to Sales, marketing & supply chain.
- To co-ordinate with cross - functional departments Production, Purchase, Technical, Quality Control, Finance,, samples, technical data, payments etc
