We have a suitable senior vacancy as Regional Sales Manager-Western Region at Mumbai with our clients who area a leading Travel Organisation having national presence and leadership position in their field. They operate through more than 200 offices all over the country with headcount exceeding 6000.
This position would be reporting to the Head-Sales and would be responsible for driving & achieving Sales Turnover & Profitability for the Region. Our clients offer excellent salary/perks as per industry norms & commensurate with experience. The position is expected to be closed by end-September.
Job Profile:
- Will be part of the core Sales Team, will handle over 15 branches and 25 Franchises in Western India, lead a large team of over 75# and report to the Head-Sales. Will be responsible for delivering targeted Sales including top-line & bottom-line. Will lead a team of Branch, Area & Territory Managers as well as Franchisees, DSAs, Sales Agents.
KRA's :
1. Responsible to grow the business by creating a region wise strategy for Sales Experience, Customer Acquisition, retention & Customer Loyalty.
2. Responsible to distribute the targets across territory and ensure the same is achieved through the Branch Managers & Area Sales Managers.
3. Ensure through the team that the set weekly/monthly/Qtrly/yearly targets for the region are achieved.
4. Monitor the branch performance through regular visits and guide them to improve their performance from time to time
5. Identifying new business prospects & share it with the BM's to implement it in their branches.
6. Continuous up gradation of selling skills of sales personnel.
7. Track overall expenditure for his region & break it branch wise & share it with the Branch Manager's. Ensure that these costs are kept under control.
8. Seek plans on sales promotional activities from the respective BM & provide approval & support to organize.
9. Handle escalations & provide timely solutions.
10. Responsible for making analysis & projection plans based on Monthly MIS reports and traking the sales trends & presenting it to the Head Sales B2C.
11. Responsible to conduct a monthly review of Budget Vs Actual with all the BM's for his region and make an action plan accordingly.
12. Track the current market developments and competition activities & make plans accordingly.
13. Man Management for his regional team.
14. Build and maintain healthy relations with Franchisees, Travel agents, Customers and Suppliers
15. Ensuring that all staff adhere to prescribed systems & are compliant
Candidate Profile: Graduates / MBAs (preferably having some qualifications in Travel Management) based in Mumbai with 8-16 years strong Sales & Team-Management experience. Must have handled a branch in Western India and handled a sales team (direct+indirect) of over 20. Must be currently handling an annual business turnover exceeding Rs.100 crores.
